ADOPT A
MISSIONARY
A native
missionary is a full-time Gospel worker ministering in his
own or a closely related culture. They are equipped with
the local
language, have a clear understanding of the culture and often
have a radical conversion experience that people can related to. Compared to
traditional missionaries, it costs a
fraction to sponsor a native worker.
Depending on
the location and size of their family, you can adopt a
missionary for
$50-$150 per month. You
will receive a photo and yearly report of your missionary.
ADOPT A
CHURCH
Churches in
Asia, exist in an environment where basic needs often go unmet.
The low income of the church members is often inadequate for
practical needs such as musical instruments, Bibles, and a place
to meet.
Our goal is
to serve the needs of a local church in Asia by partnering a Western
church to pray for their needs. When you adopt one of our
Good News Churches, we will keep you informed on the development
of that church. Just to know that someone cares brings a
great encouragement to the pastor and the believers.
ADOPT A CHILD
Ganesh
Sayanna is only eight years old. He works nine hours a day,
seven days a week, and the palms of his small hands are already
thick with calluses. He cannot yet lift a full-sized
sledgehammer so, like his 10-year-old sister Malati, he uses a
smaller version. It is still heavy enough to split granite.
Ganesh has already
learned the technique; one foot on the stone to steady it, lift,
swing and smash. With every rack the memory of his brief
childhood recedes. At the age of eight Ganesh has begun a
lifelong sentence. His crime? Poverty.
You can
sponsor a child for only $29 a month. This will allow your
child to learn about the love of Jesus, receive free education,
and free meals. |
